Meet Dr. Carl Herbert of Pacific Fertility Center, the longest practicing fertility physician in the San Francisco Bay Area. Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Herbert was instrumental in the development of one of the first assisted reproductive technology programs in the United States at Vanderbilt. Reproductive medicine drew him in as a result of his fascination with advancements in vitro fertilization and its ability to help people who had closed the door on the dream of having a child.
